Why you want to be a Leech Killer
We from I Wonder Phone want wonderful phones, and we believe you too.
The first merit of a wonderful phone is pureness, and the last things you want on a wonderful phone are junk messages and harassing calls. They are leeches on your precious time, energy or even money.
Leech Killer is exclusively developed to protect you from these leeches.
However, to achieve its full power, Leech Killer should not be only a piece of software on a single phone, it should be an association, a community, a tribe.
As a tribe, we warn each other of the danger we saw, share the fighting experiences we went through. We don't have to fall victim to each leech at least once per person, any more like in the old days when each one fights alone. Now everyone shouts out loud once he identifies a leech, then others may hear and take precautions.
The fewer victims there are, the less motivation leeches will have, the less active they will be. Finally some day, they will find themselves making harassing calls or sending junk messages in vain, and give up. This is how we kill the leeches, together.
Before you jump into this just war, please read the joint covenant:
- After you activate your user account, you can start enjoying Leech Killer Sync Service offered by our server.
- During Data Sync, the client software uploads your Black/White List to our server, and downloads our Collected Black List from our server.
- We keep your data complete on our server, and the client software can request a full restoration from our server when necessary. We offer the backup service because we sincerely hope no one need to identify the same leeches the hard way more than once.
- The Collected Black List downloaded from our server is called Gray List on the client. Gray List can be used as precautions against leeches, or be added to your Black List if you trust our hard work. We marshal Collected Black List and offer it to you because we sincerely hope less people need to identify leeches the hard way even the first time.
- Data Sync uses smart incremental updates along both directions, and is scheduled to run in background on the client no more than once a day. So it consumes as little as possible of your data plan, and every single bit is worth it.
- We keep your data private to the extent that no one but you knows which numbers/words are in your Black/White List.
- With no violation of the privacy protection, we do data mining in all users' data collectively, to the extent that we collect the most reported black numbers/words and share them along with black numbers/words we identify by other measures among the users.
- In order to enjoy the services listed above, you must register a user account on our server with your phone number, the device ID of your physical phone device, the country/region your phone number belonging to, and an optional password.
- Your user account is uniquely identified with your phone number, device ID, and country/region, and any request from you must include these pieces of information.
- In the future, we may charge registration fee which is a one off payment.
- You get different quota of Collected Black List according to your subscription option.
- We are scheduling 2 to 3 subscription options, two of which are Basic and Full. Basic subscription gets no less than 10% of Collected Black List from the account's country/region, while Full subscription gets 100% of Collected Black List from the account's country/region.
- Basic subscription is free, but we are going to charge subscription fees for other subscription options.
- All registered users become Basic subscribers automatically.
